Layne discusses how he went from reading folk tales in his parents library on a farm in Idaho to becoming a global cyclist and exploring the world.

With a wife, 7 kids, a steady job, mortgage, and student debt, Layne decided to head out on the open roads for 3 months and cycle from the western tip of Washington to the eastern tip of Maine. He also discusses his solo trip from Portugal to Rome.
