Nathan Coy is a Senior Noncommissioned Officer in the United States Air Force and the current Commandant at the Joint Base Charleston Airman Leadership School.
During this episode, Nathan discusses his military career to include his time as a Military Training Instructor. He talks about his “mental kill switch” to separate personal and professional life. Then Nathan walks us through the emotional journey of adopting his son during the early stages of the pandemic. This episode takes an emotional turn when Nathan talks about a breakthrough conversation with his son during a lengthy car ride.
